Participants must have:
- Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills
- Must be able to read, identify and interpret relevant information and ideas from workplace procedures, documentation, legislation, and regulations
- Must be able to communicate using everyday language to provide information and maintain conversations in site-based contexts and listens for relevant information in oral texts in site-based contexts

- Report & record
- Container truck carrying pesticides is on fire
- Small machinery fire in a workshop
- Small grass fire
Documentation – Completion of a site-based incident reporting form and Equipment fault log.
Theory assessment – A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions to be completed at the end of the training session.
