RIIERR201E – Conduct Fire Team Operations course will provide a participant with the skills and knowledge required to conduct fire team operations, including fighting, and containing fires within the resources and infrastructure industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in site-based roles in coal mining, metalliferous mining, drilling, extractive, and civil infrastructure environments.

- Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical demonstration skills
- Must be able to read, identify and interpret relevant information and ideas from workplace procedures, documentation, legislation, and regulations
- Must be able to communicate using everyday language to provide information and maintain conversations in site-based contexts and listens for relevant information in oral texts in site-based contexts

Documentation – Completion of a site-based incident reporting form and Equipment fault log.
Theory assessment – A written assessment consisting of multiple-choice and short answer questions to be completed at the end of the training session.
